Smilebooth: Callie and Robert Get Hitched

I didn't take my camera to Callie & Robert's wedding. I tend to get very engrossed in taking pictures and forget to enjoy myself. Therefore, I have no pictures of the girls getting ready, the cake, the ceremony, or any of that other nonsense. But thanks to the Smilebooth, I have plenty of pictures to remember the wedding by. And also to blackmail people with.

Here's a sample of the more appropriate ones, and please keep in mind that there was an open bar.....

We really do love them.

This took about 15 shots to get right.

Super happy thumbs up!

Grrrr.

Since Kristen and I were both bridesmaids, Alissa and Chris came together so they wouldn't be lonely. We thought we'd clear up the confusion.

OMG. We totes got cake.

Bridesmaids, plus.

Anybody else ever notice how the abbreviation for 'bridesmaid' is BM? We certainly noticed.

Hey-o!

At the time, we thought doing the robot was a really good idea.

Model face.

And the happy couple, Callie & Robert!

I'm a bit biased towards my own, but other than that, it was without a doubt the best wedding I've ever been to. Probably that's ever been had. Congratulations, Callie & Robert!

In Pictures

Our weekend, in pictures.

We went to the Statesboro Farmer's Market. We bought freshly baked sourdough bread, homemade raspberry muscadine jam, homemade Gouda cheese, carrots, asparagus, onions, and some stone-ground grits.

Then we went to the Habitat Re-Store where I found this on vinyl for $1. We got it home and it's pretty scratched, but playable... mostly. Then we went to Metter to the "Another Bloomin' Festival."
We took an impromptu road trip to Alma to see the house Chris' Great Grandparents lived in. This is it.
Sunday we looked at this alot:

And did quite a bit of this:Be back with other exciting things in a bit!

Kiss the Whale

Today I love...
Wedding pictures!

Okay, so this is probably a cop out, but I've been sitting here staring at these pictures for a few hours now and I'm so submerged in them that it's all I can think about. So, here's your first tiny peek at our wedding pictures. More to come in the next few days. I'm slowly working my way through them and hope to get them posted to Facebook and Flickr sometime this week. I'm officially on Spring Break with school, so that frees a bit of time.

I also have some super-duper exciting news I'll probably share sometime tonight... or tomorrow... we'll see.

Snow in the 'Boro!

It hasn't happened since 1989. It has eluded us for over 20 years. But it happened last night....... Snow in the 'Boro! I should have posted these last night, since all the lovely snow has sadly melted away now. At least I now have fond memories of our esteemed campus tucked under a beautiful blanket of white.

Sweetheart Circle with my sweetheart:

Snowball fights:
Look! I'm in Narnia! (I thought myself quite clever when I said this right before the picture was taken).....Check my Flickr stream for more pictures. I didn't want to post them allllll here.

I *Heart* It

Lately, I've been sharing websites that I love. So to continue that, here's one that I absolutely *heart*.
weheartit.com allows you to bookmark images from any site using a button you can add to your browser's toolbar. And from the dashboard you can see images that other people have "hearted." It's incredibly simple to use and is SO GREAT for keeping up with ideas and images you love. You can even follow other people so that you can just see your friends' 'hearts'

Here are a few of my favorite images lately from "my heart" that are semi-Valentine-y:

Have fun hearting your heart out!
