Mustache Envy & Harry Potter

I am absolutely dying to have these for each member of our wedding party from Something's Hiding Here (at Etsy) for the wedding.

Oh the fun we could have with these in pictures. Unfortunately, they are $32 each and our budget does NOT allow for those kind of extravagances. Luckily, I am fairly crafty and have devised a way (I think) to make some that are almost as good. I'm so excited that I just had to share.

Also, Jessica and I stood in a line that stretched all the way around the movie theater last night at midnight. What would posses us to do that, you ask?

Answer: This guy....

And even though we ended up in the very front row on the very end and everything was sort of at an angle, and it was after 3am when we got back home, and the movie didn't really compare to the book at all, it was indeed a good time. I suggest you all go out and see it ASAP. No, seriously... leave your house right now.

Also, (if you didn't leave to go see Harry Potter) after a week and a half of back and forth trips, I am officially moved into Chris' apartment. That's right, we're livin' in sin for the next 3 months. We just have a few more things to get and I should be able to turn in the keys to my old place. Our place is a wreck and stuff is everywhere, but I really think that with a little TLC, it will make a nice first place for us.

Lastly I want to give you the gift of having this song stuck in your head like I've had for the last 24 hours....

Goodnight... enjoy!

3 Days?!

Has it only been three days since my last post? It seems SO much longer. Perhaps that has something to do with the fact that the last three days have been spent moving. As of today, I'm about half moved. My bed is at Chris' apartment (now my apartment too, I suppose) and pretty much the rest of my stuff is still at my old place.......

**Sidenote: I'm watching Jimmy Fallon interview Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack Morris. Seriously, the entire interview he was in character. I feel like I'm back in 1991. Really weird.
ETA: Apparently this was a rerun. Link to video.
End Sidenote.**

...It's making me feel very disconnected from the world. This is the first time I've been on the the internet for more than two or three minutes just to check my email. I also haven't really gone anywhere besides our two apartments moving stuff. Feeling so stir-crazy has resulted in a homemade peach pie made with peaches from the farmer's market and silly bets on things like whether I can pick up a golf ball with my toes and hold it there for 10 seconds. BTW, my prize was a Reese's Sonic Blast with extra Reese's and malt....tasty. I'm also through the first four Harry Potter books (I'm trying to reread them all by July 15th, when the new movie comes out.) I think the boredom and lack of human contact may also be resulting in this blog post.

In other news (read: Stuff I want).........

This squirrel shirt from BoyGirlParty is possibly the cutest thing that ever happened.

Actually, it may be tied with this print.

Off to read more Harry Potter. Goodnight.

PS... I have come to the realization that I am no good at using the touchpad on Chris' laptop. I miss my computer with the giant screen and light-up keyboard.

Jenny, Jenny, JENNY!

So, last night I went to Athens to see Jenny Lewis at the 40 Watt. Lydia was supposed to go, but something came up and she couldn't make it, so Emily (my almost-sister) went with me instead. SO. MUCH. FUN. Jenny was amazing and other than feeling hot and sticky and gross at the end of it, it was a very enjoyable evening.

Here's a taste:

(This is NOT my video, but it's waaay better than any I took. It is, however, from last night in Athens at the 40 Watt. )

I'm still working on getting the videos I took off my phone and onto my computer. It will be tomorrow before that happens. But I did manage to take a bad cell phone pic of my souvenir:

(My new favorite shirt)

Ahhh... Jenny. You're my hero.
