It's a classic cult film from 1990, directed by John Waters.


I remember seeing this as a kid, when Johnny Depp wasn't super-mega-ultra-famous yet. I'm not quite sure what my draw to it is, but I've always loved it. I think it's the fact that the movie doesn't take itself too seriously. I mean, costars include Rikki Lake and ex-porn star Traci Lords for pete's sake.


I was bored one day a few weeks ago, browsing around Hulu for something to watch, when I rediscovered my love for it. I've watched it twice since then and found myself on weheartit today, hearting stills from the film. So I thought I'd share. If you've never had the pleasure of seeing Johnny Depp as a teenage rebel with a tear in his eye, you really should watch it. Maybe more than once.
