I made a pretty apron! See? And there's even a little embroidered mixer and cupcake!
The apron is a yellow floral pattern with blue gingham pockets- I used leftover fabric. It criss-crosses in the back so that the weight of whatever's in your pockets rests on your shoulders instead of your neck. Quite ingenious.

Closeup of the pockets and embroidery. The blue part is a pocket, and the pink with embroidery is a pocket on the pocket.... very confusing to say, but it's useful to have so many pockets!
This picture is terrible, but it's the cupcake (with sprinkles!) on the right pocket.
That's all. Time to go watch more of the first season of The West Wing. Chris got me hooked.
